Meet the Team

Hi! I'm Megan and this is my heart horse Betto (Alphabetto), who is a retired showjumper. Since I started riding almost 3 years ago, at the young age of 35, I have since launched my own equestrian business 'Elevated Equestrian' and have fallen in love with the equestrian community.

There is NOTHING like running into another horse girl at a social function or in line at the grocery store because there is almost always an instant connection and understanding. We speak a different language.

My biggest mission is to continue to positively contribute to this community. I would not be where I am today without the help and support of the friends I have met along the way.

The Social Equestrian Story

A struggle I see too often in small equestrian businesses who are "trying to do it all" but don't always have the budget and resources needed. And equestrian riders + influencers who are trying to grow their own community and business but also constantly running out of time to create all of the content needed to keep up with the ever-changing social media platforms.

I knew there had to be a better way. A way to connect riders/influencers with brands. To create a platform of resources for both parties to be able to create content faster, run their businesses more efficiently and have the ongoing support of experts in their field. And so The Social Equestrian was born. 

Now you may be thinking -- well thats nice but I just don't have the time, money, connections...

I forgot to mention:

• I work a full time day job in animal health
• I run Elevated Equestrian entirely by myself, zero outside funding, zero dollars spent on ads
• I also have two horses at two different facilities completely funded by me, and visit/ride them 5-6 days a week
• AND launched The Social Equestrian with 35+ amazing influencers and brands helping to create content to make this the best Equestrian social networking platform EVER.

So ya, me too. No time, no funding but TOGETHER we can do great things :)
